Aside from bartering, we’re pretty open to you paying in any way you like. In fact, you can use all the following payment types: Visa, AMEX, Mastercard, Diners Discover & PayPal.
You’ll only get charged once your order is dispatched. When you enter your credit/debit card information and click 'Confirm Payment' on the final review page, we simply authorize the payment to make sure that the details are correct and the necessary funds are available. As we said, we don’t take any money until we’ve sent out your order. Please be aware that if you cancel an order before it’s shipped, it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process this and make the funds to your account. It’s not us being greedy. Honest.
As safe as it possibly could be. We don’t store any card details and all the other information you give us is stored securely with the highest levels of security. In fact, we use high-level SSL encryption technology – the most advanced security software currently available for online transactions. If you want to read more about our Security and Privacy policies, you can do so here.
There are many reasons payment errors can occur and a number of steps you can take to resolve potential issues. Please review your personal and credit card information to verify that everything has been entered correctly. You could also try a different credit card or payment method, such as PayPal. If problems persist, please contact your bank, as it is possible that your account lacks sufficient funds or has been flagged for security reasons. ETHICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES
Child labor is a very emotive issue, and here at Zane Barläs we work closely with our factories and suppliers to ensure that not only is there no child labor, but also that no one else within our supply chain is being exploited or discriminated against. We are working with MADE-BY using existing certification and audits from our factories and suppliers to compare them to the MADE-BY benchmark. Where these are not available we ask suppliers to adhere to our Code of Conduct, based on the SAI code, and will be working with individual factories on social improvement programs to create examples of best practice within our supply chain.
We do use organic materials in some of our products. We also use a range of fabrics from sustainable sources. The best way to find out what fabric a product is made of, is to read its description on this website. For more general information about the different materials we use, you should take a look at our Fabric Guide.
At Zane Barlas we know we have a responsibility to do right by the environment. As a proud partner of MADE-BY we are working on the sustainability of our entire collection, up and down our supply chain. We are also working on keeping our carbon footprint as dainty as we can.
A resounding 'no': Zane Barläs does not use real fur in any of his garments. Only skins and hides which are by-products of the meat industry are used.
We aren’t comfortable with the practice of shearing, and so have decided that we will not produce any angora products. If our friendly competitors are reading this, please stop.
Zane Barlas as a company is committed to participating in the fairest of fair-trade. We expect all animal-derived products that we sell to have come from animals that are treated in the very best way and in strict accordance with animal welfare legislation.
Absolutely not.
WHY BUY ZANE BARLÄS
At Zane Barläs we firmly believe that we make some of the best clothing in the world and as such continue to invest enormous amounts of blood, sweat and tears into them so the customer continues to look and feel a million dollars.
Our loyal customers continue to come back season after season because of this and we need to continue with our standards and level of workmanship in order to maintain our premium position.
Imitation may be a form of flattery but counterfeiting does nothing except defraud consumers. No-one can make Zane Barlas like Zane Barläs and to see its trusted name and beautiful product poorly imitated and thrown together is criminal. The counterfeiters are not interested in the finest silks, wools and the art-form that comes with working with the finest factories as we do. They are interested in using cheap fabrics, fit for the bin and child labor to knock out ultra-low grade tat. We pride ourselves on having grown and developed alongside a great deal of the same suppliers and factories that we first chose to work with since inception. This means that the care and attention to product that we expect is adopted and understood inherently within those partners. This is manifested in the ethics and practices that they also adopt and develop for their own teams. Counterfeiting is one of many areas of organized crime and as such there is no end to the lengths they will go to, to defraud and cheat consumers. One of the larger areas of their shady world is that of cybercrime and the stealing of millions of people’s card details which are then used to fund their criminal network.
